Hey all, just recently my JVC DR-MH20S died, does nothing but flash loading, and I am looking to buy a replacement but having a hard time finding all I need for £300 or less, with good ratings and a good brand.

Main features I am looking for:
Built in Freeview tuner for recording Freeview
    A clock that sets itself
A channel guide with easy selection of programs to record and a way to record programs up to 2 weeks in advance (as far forward as video+ codes usually go)
If a program changes schedule because of previous program running late, I would like it to adjust accordingly.
Ability to start recording something, and begin watching it before the recording has finished (this is a must).
Ability to watch a DVD or watch a recorded program from the library while recording to HDD (also a must).
Series link would be nice but not essential.
Ability to play back DVD-R discs, photo discs, the usual etc.
    1080p upscaling.

Also, Freeview reception is a little flakey, but TV has a built in signal booster which cures that, do any HDD DVD recorders have one?

I think that is all of it, basically what my JVC did + the good new stuff without an ugly useless menu system.

I have found one that I think has most of that, with ok ratings, the Toshiba RD329DT for £299 at John Lewis (RD329DTKB on Amazon for £209, not sure of the difference), but would like opinions and suggestions of others to look at, £300 is pretty much the limit, but may be able to stretch that slightly.

Another I looked at was the Panasonic DMR-EX89EB-K, which is rated pretty good but that is getting expensive.

    Thank you
