Sonic Foundry-Vegas Video 3.0..How to??

Hi,
I'm very new using Vegas Video 3.0. Could any one tell me shortly one by one how can I;

1) Capture from TV card as .AVI?
2) Convert to VCD - PAL format? Which format VCD or MPEG-1?
3) Burn into CD?

Sorry for that idiot question but this program has many features and I lost myself in the menus

I found all my answers after working 1 day on this program. Thanks anyway.

PS: This is a great video editing program.
