    I have a Westinghouse 32" LCD. I've just upgraded the Dish Satellite receiver to a DV 211. When I try to change the display mode in the satellite receiver to 720p or 1080i the TV screen blanks out and when it returns the satellite receiver is still showing 480p. The TV is suppose to be compatible to either mode. I've also used 2 different HDMI cables and both HDMI inputs on the TV. Any help would be appreciated.

    Does your Westinghouse LCD support HDCP?

    HDMI is supposed to support HDCP by definition. DVI-D inputs may or may not support HDCP. You should talk to Dish support.
