    My LCD screen is always white! Any ideas what can be the problem?

    Can you get picture in the viewfinder?

    If so, my guess is the LCD has a detached or shorted cable.

    Yes, I have picture in viewfinder. I think so that the cable is a problem. Can be anything other the problem?

    All you can do is wiggle it from the outside. A local camcorder repair shop should be able to fix it and cheaper than "factory service" flat rates.

    It could be a failed module but that is less likely than a connector issue.

    Camcorders are difficult to self service. You may do more damage.

    Check your owner's manual. In low-light settings, many camcorders have a feature that turn the flip-out screen into a type of light to better illuminate the shot. (Of course, the screen should be rotated toward the subject in that case.) I don't know about your particular model, but I'm guessing it is set as a light instead of a view screen.
