  1. Hello from the land of sauna!

I bought a Sony Bloggie, and now i've been playing with it and tried to test some camera angles. I had this idea of attaching the camera onto a hockey stick and shoot from the ground level. So.. i went to my sister, she owns two cats and two dogs so it was cool to have some kind of target for this practise. This is the result...

I would love to hear some good camera angle tips, we have a great weather here for test-shooting.

Not to sound rude, but it looks exactly as if you just stuck a camera on the end of a hockey stick and walked around with it. (which you did)

It's unbelievably shakey which makes it almost impossible to watch and think anything other than....shake....shake...more shake.

What's your aim with this? Are you wanting to make a documentary on pets? or something else?

If you want to shoot like that, where your getting really really close to subjects, then you want to get a wideangle lens, this will also soften up the shakes, simply because of the way the lens squeezes the picture at the edges, all movements appear to be reduced.

    Thanks for the reply!

That footage was intented to be ONLY test. And thats exactly right, the camera IS mounted into a hockey stick with a plaster It is almost 100% unedited, i only added fades in some ends.
