I want to export a DVD for YouTube. I've tried reading up on the correct dimensions to export (convert) the video, but different sites seem to have conflicting info. I've read that I should export to 720 by 405 which would maintain my 16 x 9 ratio. But I've also read that really NTSC Widescreen DV only has a vertical resolution of 360. Which would put my other dimension at 640. What is the right dimension to export at?
Thanks...

DV is 720x480 or 720x576 pixels. If your DV is interlaced be sure to deinterlace it also.
But don't use 405 pixels, use a size that is dividable by at least 2 or even better by 16. -
So the 640 by 360 is a better choice? I understand that DV is 720 x 480 (NTSC) but that translated into square pixels is not widescreen...
