    Hello,

    I'm looking for a program, free or not, to record my web cam and keep the quality to as close to the original feed as possible. I have a typical logitech web cam and need to record about an hour at a time. I will be at the computer when i record. I know there are screen capture programs for free out there, but I think the quality would probably suffer. I appreciate any recommendations.

    Have you tried windows movie maker? It should be able to capture from a web cam. Choose the highest quality setting.

    Or do you want to capture the web cam when using it from another program?

    No, I haven't, I'll check it out. I was gonna record it from yahoo messenger, or if not maybe the software that comes w/ the cam.
