I dug out my Sony TRV900 after a long period of inactivity. It seems to work OK with AC and Li batteries (I have 4) but after the battery is removed and the camera is shut off for a while, all the settings seem to go. The first thing is wants when turned back on is the clock setting. Does anyone know if this camera has an internal battery that could be bad? This camera is old but in pretty good shape and I'd like to use a bit more. Thanks.

See the User's Manual on bottom of Page 117 for "Charging the vanadium-lithium battery in the camcorder".

Most camcorders have a small watch type battery used to preserve clock and settings.
