Over time i have tried and d/l several programs that all come with there own codecs and i have run codec sniper which i have hear is supposed to be able to delete broken codecs but i have had no success. When running this program, it appears way too many of my codecs are broken, especially windows movie maker and my xvid and divx codecs.
I have several dvd's that i have ripped using DVD Fab and i am looking into VOB2MPG to be able to make these movies playable on my ps3 via usb drive or stream. I dont want to get too far into this if my broken codecs are going to screw up my new movie files. Besides doing a clean sweep and reinstall of windows vista, does anyone have a good way of fixing these codecs?
