    Hi Guys,

Next month is my wedding and I am currently doing 2 (two) slideshows (Pictures + Audio music) and going to have a compilation of songs (around 20-30) to be played out during the wedding.

So basically, there will be a DVD player and a CD player on my wedding day.

As this forum in only for Video, let me just ask for the DVD .

My tech guy (handling my wedding on that day) said that i should divide my slideshow into 2 tracks i.e. 1st and 2nd slideshow and burn them into 1 DVD.

    Questions.
    1. How to burn DVD by tracks?
    2. Is there any software that can burn my slideshow into a file or something and I can try this file in the DVD player in my laptop? So it is a kind like DVD simulation. Hence, I do not need to waste a lot of my DVD-R discs if things are not working.

    Thanks guys.

Tracks = Titles. Create a DVD with two video titles, one for each sideshow.

Buy a DVD-RW disc and use that for test burning. There are plenty of software players around that can be used for testing, but they are no substitute for actually using a hardware player.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

Are all the software to burn DVD allow you to create title/track?

That is brilliant idea. I do not know why i never thought that.

    Thanks

A title is a video clip. Once you import it into the DVD authoring program as an asset, it is, by default, a title. Some authoring tools will let you combine multiple clips into a single title if necessary.

In your case you just need to create two video clips, one for each slideshow, and author these as two titles.

If you do not have a DVD authoring tool, look at DVD Styler as a free option
