I want to stitch .MTS files together into one file and have the stitched file remain .MTS. I have a Canon HF S100 every time I start and stop the recording it makes a separate file. So, I need to make them all one file. I want to maintain the .MTS format for the stitched file? Any ideas?

try tsmuxer. It should work with mts files. I don't know if it will output in mts however.
There is also tscutter I think. I don't know if it merges or not. Try checking in the tools section on the loeft. Look for editing tools and search by mts or m2ts.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Why do you need to keep the files as mts?
I think,therefore i am a hamster. -
