Hello Everyone,
I have an old 'original' Philips Directv TIVO box that just died. The fan comes on, but the unit itself will not. It was having some issues before this happened. I could view previously recorded material, but it would not show any live TV.
I'm resigned that the machine is dead, but I would like to be able to access the movies and other content that is on the HDD. Can I remove the HDD and connect to my PC, or in some other way get to that content?
