I am a registered SVCD2DVD user who has two VCD .dat files. Per instructions elsewhere in this forum, I converted the the .dat RIFF to true .mpg and got two files which had PAL format according to the asset pane. I attempted to produce a DVD with the Quick DVD option after setting PAL to NTSC conversion, per the demo help video. SVCD2DVD processed the two files but did not make a DVD. I checked the logs and found the message "Leaving Split Wide Open Part 1_S2D.mpg alone. File has Nav Packs", the same for the second file. I searched this forum and Chrissy Boy said somewhere that this means that the file "has already been processed". I am not sure what this means and why the DVD was not produced. The asset pane now says the files are NTSC. Guidance in creating my DVD would be highly appreciated.

    Thanx.

Please ignore this post. SVCD2DVD did make the DVD. It put the output in a weird place and there was a blank directory with the same name in the expected place.
