  1. welllllll!!! I'm stumped, frustrated and mad as heck.

So I have all these AVI's, one of which is LOTR, (not the cam version but the beautiful version) and I thought, helll I'll watch it on VCD on my DVD player because it's a lot better than watching it on my puuuny comp monitor.

well I had to decompress the audio with avi2vcd. and when that was done my 699 meg file went up to 1.7 gig. Sooo After that was said and done, I took her on over to TMPGEnc and decided that it was time to make it into a Mpeg.

And we were off, we were running, and then Kablam! At about 75% done the conversion process stopped and I was left with blackness. Well I thought maybe I could at least burn what I already had, after all the entire thing wouldn't fit on one CD anyway. But then I viewed it with Media player and the audio skips town at about 40% finished.

I understand that problems like this do arrise, but it happens for everyone of my films, at about the same tiime.....75% fin. Does anyone have insight into this prob or am I doomed to watch this film on my puuuuny comp monitor?
