Frameserve from virtualdub to HC

Is there any way to frameserve with virtualdub to HC?
I never used that encoder with virtualdub's frameserver.

How I can make it accept the vdr files?

You can use a small Avisynth script as intermediar.

AVISource("filename.vdr")

Then use that script as source for HCenc.

EDIT:

I believe vdub outputs as RGB. HCenc expects YV12 so you probably need to add a line like;

AVISource("filename.vdr")
ConvertToYV12()
