    Greetings all:
    I just got a Toshiba Tecra 9000 laptop, which came with DVD drive and WinDVD software. I have the following questions:
    - WinDVD only allows me to change the region code 6 times, then it locks up. Is there anyway that I can make it region free or unlock the number of times that I can change it?
    - WinDVD didn't work with VCD. Is there any other software that I can use to play VCD with my DVD drive?

    and windvd should be able to play vcd, if not try open the .dat file in the mpegav folder to play it.
