I used to be able (for the entire 2008) season to capture the MotoGP races flv files and be able to convert them with something like "Replay Media Catcher" and "Aimersoft Video Converter" and this is what the "MediaInfo" looked like for the 2008 season:
************************************************** ************************************************** *
General
Complete name : D:\Moto GP\FLV's\00-Valencia 2008.flv
Format : Flash Video
File size : 1.26 GiB

Overall bit rate : 2 162 Kbps
Encoded date : Sun Oct 26 15:36:48 2008
On2 : Technologies
Video
Format : VP6
Duration : 1h 23mn
Bit rate : 1 200 Kbps
Width : 720 pixels
Height : 404 pixels
Display aspect ratio : 16/9
Frame rate : 25.000 fps
Bits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.165

************************************************** ************************************************** **
Now in 2009 there is no way I can get a good conversion, the video looks like is moving at 1.5x or something like that, the audio is all chopped up and at the end of the race the video is ahead by several minutes with respect to the audio.
This is what the "MediaInfo" looks like:

Unfortunately, when I watch the flv video (both 2008 and 2009) directly from the MotoGP site (or stored in my computer) it looks like it's running at 15 fps, whereas after the conversion to mpg, avi or mp4 it's nice and smooth.
Although I am an expert about computers, I am a newbe at video editing encoding, etc. maybe som flv expert over here can look at "MediaInfo" log and say... "Dude... the "Variable" frame rate mode is what's killing you" but I have no idea.
Can anyone help me...?
