    How many minutes of video can we fit on a 74/80min SVCD. I think for a VCD it would be actually around 65min/70min as for VCD 10MB==1min.

    I have fitted 79min 45 seconds on an 80. Not over burnt

    This is answered in the "What Is" sections.

    Minimal overhead is about 10 seconds for a VCD. Thus for just one video track, no CD-i, minimal overhead, on a 74min CD, you can fit about 73min 50sec and on an 80min CD, you can fit about 79min 45sec without overburning (80 min CDs are often only about 79min 56sec).
