    Xfire lets you record Gaming footage like Fraps

    When i encode Xfire Video files the colors of the encoded file are all messed up, Inverted i guess its called, i used AVS script creator. I've used many encoders and no other one gives this color problem

    Fraps files give this warning before i encode, Your AviSynth clip is is the wrong colorspace, RGB32.The colorspace should by YV12. Do you want me to add ConvertToYV12() to the end of your script?, I Choose yes and they turn out fine

    It doesn't prompt that for xfire files, i added it to a xfire file script it didn't seem to work

  2. If other encoders work fine, why not use them?

    It's likely an issue with the xfire decoder, and vfw codec if AVISource() is used in your script

    I would prefer to use Xvid4psp but x264 and other things aren't updated like they are in Megui, so im worried i might get lower quality encodes.

    AVISource("blablabla", audio=false) is in the script

  4. I don't have xfire installed or an xfire decoder so I cannot test it

  7. OK I installed xfire;

    What color is the background in the sample supposed to be?

    When I switch it to DirectShowSource() it looks blue is that the way its supposed to be? or is that inverted? It looks fine when encoding through Megui

    When I use AVISource() it's a purple background and looks "off"

  9. Just edit the avs script

    Instead of AVISource("blah.avi")
    Use DirectShowSource("blah.avi")
