Burnt Blu-ray not playing on PS3

Hello,

I am a newbie. I have downloaded a blu-ray movie in .mkv format and converted it to a "supposedly" burnable blu-ray format using multiavchd. After burning it with Imgburn, my PS3 plays it with sound but no picture. I noticed that after converting the movie, there was only a BDMV folder and not a Certificate folder. But Imgburn creates a Certificate folder for you. I have read that some blu-ray players and PS3's need a BDMV folder AND a Certificate folder. Is that true? Or what am I doing wrong?

a blu-ray movie is NOT in any mkv format. Just rerip from original movie.
