  1. I have used my Sony DCR-DVD505 CAMCORDER FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS AND THE VIDEOs THAT I SHOOT are GREAT WHEN VIEWING back ON MY Compaq computer. I use the windows media to view the videos on my computer. All movements on the videos look smooth and clean even when I pan from side to side or slowly zoom using the remote control feature. But when I edit these footages using Adobe Premiere Elements and then I render and encode the video clips that I like, before burning the final edited versions. I have a problem with the final burned DVD because the movements of the filmed people have a blurring effect and their arm leg movements are not fluid like in the original video that I shot. I am using the NTSC format for the Adode software editing needs.

My computer is running an AMD processor 64 x2 at 1.6 GHz with 256 KB cache and 2GB of RAM.

How can I get better results using the editing programs? Besides not panning or using the zoom feature.

I also have Sony Vegas and Sony DVD Architect Studio that I can use but the Adobe program seems to be easier to use..

Can somebody explain the technical background for Rendering and Encoding videos?

    Thank you!

    Jim

It sounds like you are deinterlacing. Can you post a few seconds of motion?
