    Hello guys,
I have another question for you which has me baffled.

I just purchsed and installed Cyberlink Power DVD9.

I have 6 blue rays disks. Two work perfectly and the other four are jerky with the sound and video not syncronized.

I just built my PC. Here is what I have:
Operating system : Windows VISTA 64 bit
    Processor: i7 Quad processors
Soundcard : Creative Labs Blaster Professional Series Titanium XFI Fatality .65 gig onboard memory
Video card: 9800 GT EVGA 1 gig onboard memory 2.0 PCI express
    Ram: 6 gig
    Hard drive: 1 terabytes
Keyboard: Microsoft 8000 USB Wireless Entertainment rechargble blue tooth keyboard and mouse set
    Power Supply: Antec 750 watt
    Mother board: ASUS PST-Delux
    Cooling: V8 Cooler Master
Blue-Ray DVD burner: LG Super Multi Blue

I have downloaded the latest drivers and software updates for Windows Vista 64 bit, the 64 bit Vista drivers for my video card and sound card and monitor, the upgrade for the Cyberlink Power DVD9.
I used the handy “Cyberlink Blue Ray Disk Analyzer” which determines if my hardware is Blue –Ray capable. It is a green light on all except it says “capability unknown” on my i7 Processor and my 9800 GT EVGA 1 gig onboard memory 2.0 PCI express video card………STRANGE!
I went to the Cyberlink site for this software and it said to reduce this synchronization problem go to Task Manager then to the Process tab. Do an “end process” on any process not needed. I eliminated 11 processes. I did this with no results to the jerkiness / no synchronization of the blue-ray movie.
I give up. Help. What is wrong, guys?

I read in the gta4 forums that i7 Quads were having problems with jerkiness and stuttering while playing,it was found that disabling the hyperthreading would fix that, not sure if it would help playing blu-ray with powerdvd 9.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

Your motherboard BIOS should include an option to disable Hyperthreading. Look through your overclocking options page,it's there somewhere.
