    Dear folks

Canon HF10 save video file in mts formats, few days ago i had christening service of my twins as well a party. Both occasions are more than 27 gb and in different files altogether.

Now I would like to burn it in the dvd to send to families. I tried to burn mts files through nero vision, but it doesn’t works. Before I do use or dl another programme would like to be very sure what am doing.
Please let me know which program is requiring burning those mts files in dvd format and secondly i am looking to have them in one or two dvds.

Is there possibility to reduce them from 27 gb to the size of at least 2 dvd??

    Thanks alot in advance.

Do you want to keep it in HD format?

Or else try convert to dvd-video using ConvertxtoDVD.

If you were having pixel issues then maybe you will have to use higher bitrates and burn to more dvds to keep the quality. Also use tsmuxgui to rip the audio and use that for dvd authoring. Also you can try cinema craft encoder basic with avisynth to encode the mts,it does a good job.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

Doesn't your camera come with some video software that can convert your video to dvd?

Maybe also try latest tmpgenc authoring works and latest ulead videostudio.

Before i go to buy, i borrowed Pinnacle Studio 12 from my friend, to edititng.

When i tried to upload avch file (mts), it say programe did not support it.

I converted the files into avi (through Alive convert) but Pinnacle said not support avi file.

I convert avchd into vob (through convertxtodvd) it also did not recognise vob formate. Same with dvix formate.

So in the end of long story...Pinnacle did not support avi, vob files.

No one from my friends have Ulead so i do not kow about it.

Yesterday i burn some files, through Nero vision 4, nero has very very limited manuel/editing possiblity. Nero is indeed ideal of authoring dvd, but it has always less feature creating manuel other mixing feature.

Any suggestion here??? I already author dvd with Nero vision 4, is it still possible to do editing with some programe?
