  1. Hi all, I downloaded a M4V video file from Australia's ABC TV website of an interview.

I'm currently using a Win ME machine, as my Win XP box fried it self last-week.

Does anyone know of any M4V players that will work on Win ME. Both QuickTime and iTunes won't work on my computer, as they both require Win XP and higher.

Computer specs are Gateway 1.7 Gig performer with 640 Meg Ram, with GeForce Video Card, and a Sony DRU 833 burner. Computer has two 120 Gig hard-drives.

  2. I'm pretty sure MPCHC works in Win98/ME. It has built in file readers/splitters and codecs for most audio and video types. So you probably won't need to install anything else.

Moving you to our software playing section as this is not conversion.

Maybe try the old vlc media player also.
