Hello all,
I'm trying to recode a file to a lower bitrate using MeGUI, to achieve a smaller file size. The file properties are as follows:
Video:
MPEG-TS
3357 Kbps
1280*720
AVC (High@L4.1) (CABAC / 3 Ref Frames)
Audio:
384 Kbps
48.0 KHz
6 channels
AC-3
Note: This was originally an .mkv file which was transcoded to .mpg using mkv2vob for playback on my PS3.
When I open the file in MeGUI and attempt a One-Click conversion, or use the D2V Creator, MeGUI tries to use DGIndex on the file. However, this doesn't work since the file needs to be opened with DGAVCIndex. Is there any way to tell MeGUI which of these two utilities to use?
I have a whole bunch of these files that I'd like an easy way to convert, which is why I'm using MeGUI. I've been successful in the past using MeGUI to convert other video types.
Thanks in advance for the help, and my apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. I did try to search for an answer first.

PS: I'm open to using other programs if they allow a batch conversions and are reliable in terms of output quality. I know MeGUI is just a front end to the actual command-line conversion tools, so I'm not married to it.
