    Hi all.
I Need a software that will allow me Compiling several dvds at once while I'll be able to see all the files of all the separate dvds im making on the screen.

I have my hdd full of stuff that I need to burn. But I have lots of groups of files I want to burn together to one or few dvd group. I don't like just to throw files that are not connected everywhere.

Now, whichever program anyone is using - you can add files and watch the bar or whatever sign that tells you how much space you have left in the dvd and if you exceeded it.
I just want to be able to have a few windows like that at once -each one will have another dvd in progress, and that way I'll be able to see all files and move them to whatever dvd that is relevant wile I'm still maximizing my dvds
(hence :i do not leave 2GB free on one dvd just cuz I didn't find the right file in the right size to put there from all my hdd.)

I'm burning as data btw. No need for menus and such.

Anyone knows such a software ? like dvd compiling manager

If I understand your question correctly, you want to be able to put like files together and burn them on discs as data, right?

You shouldn't have to be worried about compiling and all that...

You're making something easy into something...er... not so easy.

If you're burning with IMGBurn, simply move as many files as the disc will hold into the burn que, load a disc and hit the button.

    Simple

If you are burning DVD ROM discs, then all you need is to create meaningful folder names, preview each file and move it to the appropriate folder. Windows explorer will tell you the size of files in each folder as they grow in size.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.

SaSi - i have already done that, its just too much and too many so a dvd manager (if such thing exist) will help me alot.

I didnt say burn. i did say creat. meant= just make few dvd without burning them till i know i got what i want in the optimal way (less dvds as possible for a each group of connected files).

I did found this old lookalike program.

    http://www.fillcd.net/download.php?FILLCD=ed1644cb7e82a63f9db93660c57834 fb.

im still not sure if it'll work.checking it right now.
and it's a shareware and not a freeware anyway. but its in the direction of what i need. and maybe their home page will explain a bit better of what i want to achive (even though the other guy here that replied understood it i think).

    nymphadora,
You can have ImgBurn produce iso images for each of the disk(s) that will be kept on your computer till you are ready to burn them. If you mount the iso image with a program such as Daemon tools, or something similar, you can then look at image with Windows Explorer or My Computer.

been awhile but i still did not find the solution to my problem.
ImgBurn wont help me as i can't see more then one image at once ( so i can drag and drop files from one to another till im satisfied with the image enough to save it) which was my original goal.

    anymore suggestions about this ?

  9. why don't you just open several instances of imageburn and place them side by side with the auto calculator on. This would allow you to place files where you want and monitor the amount....
