From Alexa point of view, are sub-domain websites treated the same as the main one? for example, say my main website www.mydomain.com has the following sub domains
sub1.mydomain.com
sub2.mydomain.com
sub3.mydomain.com

each of sub-domains are individual sites. Now from Alexa point of view, is it true that each visitor of any of the sub-domains will count to be a real visitor for the main website www.mydomain.com ?
Also is true that any backlink to any of the subdomains is in fact a backlink for the main one www.mydomain.com ?
