What is spatial domain?

I am trying to figure out the filtering. I understood the horizontal, vertical and temporal domain but how can a filter works in spatial domain. Does that mean filter works in three dimension? (x,y,t)? If this is true what kind of filters work in spacial domain and what are they called?

Spacial domain = 2 dimensions, width and height of individual frames
Temporal domain = the third dimension, frame to frame, may include spacial domain too

So spacial domain filters work on individual frames. Things like blur, sharpen, noise reduction, etc. Temporal domain filters work with multiple frames and may include spacial components. Things like 3d noise reduction (spacial and temporal), motion blur, etc.
