  1. Was using DVD2SVCD to make a SVCD from a Friends (the show) DVD, and I encountered a pretty big problem. Obs, I'm rather new to DVD2SVCD so it could be a newbie problem. The problem itself:
The encoding. Using a cracked version of CCE SP 2.50 and when it's time to encode the following happens:
    1. The log view shows all the settings for the current encoding, looks ok.
    2. The output dir for the big encoded file now have 5-10 files. The ChangeCD pic etc. You prolly now what kinda files I mean.
    3. The program has been started up a few times, with sortof macro-typing on the filename areas.. (hope you get what I mean.)
    4. Then, nothing. The percentage aint growing, no file is being created.
CCE SP itself aint started, neither in the background nor the foreground.
What do you think is the problem here, would appreciate it very much if you could gimme a hand here... DVD2SVCD has been mentioned everywhere and seems to be the currently best way to rip. Would love to be able to use it.
(Obs, followed the guide on doom9 completly, and also tried that forum, no help)

  3. CCE has been started up a few times, entering filenames etc... But when all those are done, and the real encoding process is about to start, nothing happens, CCE is running (check the processlist in windows), but no file being created, nor is the percentage in DVD2SVCD growing. :/

  4. I just found out why I cant use CCE SP.. :(
Requires a a PIII CPU, or an AMD, and my encoding machine is a PII..
So, this might be it :P
