undoing a hack

saw a hack for my zenith dvd2201 player to allow it to play vcd's. it did not work and messed up the player. does anyone know how to undo a hack for this player.

I fuked up my zenith trying a hack too, no it only plays in black and white,u said u fixed this can u please tell me how.
