    so i was hoping to use a total video converter for converting >1k of mp3 files to ac3 and found this program useless because in order to set bitrate for tracks you have to go through every single track in queue and set it... that's a lot of work... can anyone suggest any other good app to batch convert mp3 to ac3? besweet isn't an option... the files it produces are so weird that won't even play on computer

    You could also do it with some batch scripting using wavi, ffmpeg and/or aften.
