    Hi all

    I downloaded file converted to Xvid + AC3 and burned to DVD 5 for further playback on my standalone DVD player Philiphs 5102K ...

    It played fine for about a half of the video and suddenly stopped playing and on DVD menu appeared unrecognizable symbols. Afterwards, I tried to convert it to Divx - Mp3, Divx - Ac3 , Xvid - MP3 and the same problem appeared again....

    From that point all downloaded Divx + AC3 and Xvid + AC3 files are only played until the half...

    Simple solution - go and buy the DVDs. You will get far higher picture quality, and no playback problems.
