I think the only way you could do it is by MODDING the WII (by the way it has two I's not one).

However I think every system update changes what modded consoles can and can't do. I'm sure there are soft-mods for the WII that don't permanently change the factory configurations.

I'd search the net for terms like WII MOD or soft-mod WII. Something like that.

But I think modding is the only way to do it.

Oh one more note modding your console by soldering chips into it will VOID THE WARRANTY. Soft-modding doesn't since it's not permanently altering anything.

And welcome to the forum (plus just an fyi you may find better help at a dedicated game forum than a video website - but I hope you find other useful information while your here too )
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

    That's why there are wii-clips!.

You have to mod your wii, it's the only way to go. You can also install loaders (Soft Modding), but that's a pain in the rear and they don't always work.

Argon 2 is a nice chip, it is built with a wii-clip and the setup is easy.

Sorry don't know any specifically for the WII. I'm sure there are lots.

I know that xbox-scene is great for the 360 and xbox 1. I just haven't done any modding to my WII so I haven't looked.

As soon as you break the little white tabs your warranty is voided but the new chips are sure alot easier than soldering.
They have chips now that you just put it in between the drive and the mobo via an extender cable which is a whole lot better than those wii clips now since they have epoxy on the chips now for lots wiis.
The warranty is only good for a year regardless unless you buy an extended warranty. If you have a competent installer modding the wii regarless of the chip should never cause any damage though.

Modding it would be the best way to play games from differnt regions (other than selling you wii)
Be careful that the chip you use blocks updates from regions other than the home region of the wii.
You can end up with a paper weight if the update occurs from a different region
