    Hii,

I'm seeking for the best, easiest and fastest way to downgrade 1080p movies to 720p (MKV of course).
Is there any simple tool like ShrinkDVD?

    Thanks,
    Izik.

    P.S.
    Downloading a 720p version isn't an option

There isn't a Shrink for MKV files, and fastest and best don't go together when it comes to video encoding. And if your system specs are correct in your profile, you are in for a long haul. Even on a quad core you could expect that type of reduction to take 4 - 6 hours or more (assuming this is a feature length video), so on your (very) modest set up, expect to leave it running for at least 24 hours.

Oh haven't been here for long time, it's my very old computer.
Now I'm working on some dual-cores.

I've already tried to use StaxRip, and it took me about 5-6 hours on AMD M2 proccessor.

So I know the downgrading will take TIME.
I'm just seeking for the best software and the best configuration to do so (ex. 2pass/1pass).

By best I mean the most optimal!
Considering I'm a user willing to DOWNGRADE from 1080p to 720p

    Thanks.

    Edit:
Is there any option for cluster encoding?
I mean using 2-3 computers to encode.
