    I recently bought a umc 21.6" full hd tv and ps3 system, they are connected via hdmi. what settings do i turn on to get my ps3 fully hd such as in game settings, smoothing, upscaling, and sound settings please.

    Video settings used will be determined by the TV. For instance, there is no reason to setup the PS3 to output 1080 (1920x1080 resolution) when that TV likely doesn't support that res anyway. You should set the video to reflect what the TV can actually display (native resolution).

    I like 720p over 1080i. People say it's better for your eyes. But 1080i and 720p look the same to me.

    It is all in the system settings, although spread out over a few different areas.

    You set the HDMI output in one section, then you set upscaling methods and various other features in another area. Just scroll through each one and have a play. You can't break it.
