Pinnacle PCTV HD PCI only captures at 720x480?

Hey guys,
Need some help here and didn't find it searching the forums... I have a Pinacle PCTV HD PCI card that looks to only capture at 720x480. Is there any way to change this? I have tried 5 different capture apps (Pinnacle software, IUVCR, Ulead, AVS, Virtual VCR...) and they all will only capture at the default 720x480 resolution. Any ideas?

What resolution do you want it to capture to?

I was looking to capture some old VHS tapes at 512 x 384 using xvid at 1200kbps

Does it come with software? They only talk about it being Vista MCE compatible.

PS: Supposed to have a CD with tuner and editing software.

NTSC video comes as 480 discreet scan lines. Few capture devices/programs will crop or resize while capturing. You'll probably have to capture at 720x480 (there may be options for 480x480, 352x480, and 352x240) and downsize from there later.
