    Hi,

    I have a .avi movie file and the subtitles to go with it in .srt how do i play them together in VLC??

    It should play automatically (at least it does in windows). They have to be the same name and in the same folder

    file.avi
    file.srt

    If not, go into the options and you can set the subtitle options

    ok they were in the same file but had different names, that worked though thanks
