What is a good program to use for converting Blu-Ray (M2ts) files to DVD (VTS) files?
In the past I have had sucess using WinAvi but for some reason can't get it to work anymore. Don't know if I had a certain codec installed to have it work or what?
Anyway, Help would be appreciated for I am a newbie in some ways.

  2. there is no direct way. they would need to be re-encoded to dvd spec mpeg-2 and then authored to dvd vob and ifo files. there are some "all-in-one" type programs like convertxtodvd that will do everything for you.

Thanks. I will give it a try and let you know how it works.
    One other question.............
When converting these M2ts files after using AnyDvd I go to the movie title, BDMV, STREAM and find the movie file there. I then load the file into whichever converter program I am using to convert it to a DVD file I can play on my stand alone player.
Is that pretty much the correct procedure?
Like I said, sometimes it works using WinAvi but sometimes not. I will try the ConvertX thought.
Thanks again youz guyz. I really appreciate it.
