Gentlemen & Ladies,
Gift of new high res digital camera..making movies of our horses ..some 2 minutes..some .5 hours...can burn to DVD..BUT not as one movie.
Must "click" to the next one each time. Tried Nero 8 Ultra...even wrote them..9 days later the tech replied..without any helpful info.....
Have DVD burner and all that is needed..except the knowledge of HOW to make them run as one `flick' ??
Your help would be most appreciated.

Is English not your native language? It is hard to understand your post.
Once you convert the video files to DVD-compliant mpg-2, you can use Womble to merge them to one file, or use TDA and make them all part of a single title. -
I don't use Nero Vision, but if you're authoring your movies as a standard DVD (MPEG-2 standard definition video with menus), then there should be a "play all" button available at the menu level. Alternately, there should be a "play next title" option for the movies themselves. It could be at the project level to set the default post-play action for each move, or as an optional post-play action for individual titles. If these features are not available, you'll need to join all your files into one using Nero Vison's editor, or use a different authoring/editing package like TMPGEnc Authoring Works or MPEG Video Wizard DVD. They have free trials so you aren't out any money if you don't like them.
If you are not authoring a DVD, but are instead copying each movie to disc as a separate data file, then you need to join them into one file using Nero Vision's editor in order for them to play one after the other. -
As was mentioned you can select "play all" or drop all of the clips in the timeline and make one movie.

Gentlemen,
To `Supreme2k'...Yes for over 60 years English is my language!!! And Russian,German, French, Latin,etc...LOL true!
Let me start again....I bloody well have about 40 some odd videos I made in the past few weeks.
Using that crap Nero 8 Ultra I burned a DVD of most of the videos...OK? BUT.....when playing back on a DVD player...they just stop after playing each one..then I must start the next by clicking the bloody control.....
They will not just play as one constant movie...OK?? the geek in Eastern Europe did not speak much English ...he replied...in non-understandable terms.
So I here am a novice..trying to make movies for family and friends.....having a burner...my own home videos..but no knowledge of how in the H____
to make a continuous movie..OK? Understand that English?? LOL LOL
Hey guys, I am old.. but not brain dead yet, just trying to keep my mind busy. So where do I find this software ..AND CONVERT DIFFERENT VIDEOS TO ONE TYPE??
ALL MADE WITH SAME CAMERA...............some say: "Quicktime" some say "AVI" some say "flash videos"......????
So how do I convert them to one type a burn in movie form to a DVD??? I do NOT understand why the different types from the same camera???
It is a new Canon G10 digital high res 15 mega pixels...so where to go from here ??

I don't use a video camera, so the help I can offer probably ends with this post. However, if you expect to solve your problems with a couple of quick answers, you are going to be disappointed.
Learning video editing and DVD authoring requires some study and a fair amount of patience. You might begin by looking at the glossary here to become familiar with the technical terms you need to understand to make use of any answers you get.
By the way, your two posts are brusque to the point of rudeness. This is not a good way to get started with people who are helping you on a purely voluntary basis. I gave you a break, because I can understand how you might be frustrated, but keep it up and you won't get many answers here. -
Gentlemen,
"usually_quiet" has said I was rude.....as an Officer and True Gentleman, by Act of Congress, of the United States Marine Corps.....we are by nature VERY POLITE!!!
For whatever I said...I was only kidding in tone!!! Mea Culpa!! I am a humble man attempting to LEARN your craft!!
I admit..I know very little about videos.....I have said that...A lady suggested I come here for answers.
I have explained what I have..the types of videos, camera, etc........I only wish to burn DVD's for friends and family to view!
If my humor offended..I certainly apologize !!
Best Regards,
DoktorDave06 A true newbie !!! OK? -
Reread usually_quiet first post. Have you tried that? I'm pretty sure you should be able to put several clips in same track with nerovision.
And read a guide like http://www.digital-digest.com/articles/Nero_Vision_5_DVD_Authoring_Guide_page1.html and you might get more ideas how to solve it. -
You may also want to get a new keyboard. it appears that your period key is sticking.
I... Hope...that...you.................understand..what I .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .....mean.
If you are truly over 60, I would hope that some of that time was spent in school learning how to write properly. Every sentence does not need an exclamation point. In your posts, with the odd way of writing and excessive punctuation, you come off as quite a dick. -
