    I can't install DVD43 encrypting software for DVD's as it won't support 64bit windows vista. Does anyone know of a different free download for the same purpose? Will there be anything else I need to be able to copy dvd's besides a dvd copying software? This is my first computer and one of the main things I would like to be able to do is burn dvd's.

    Try DVDFab Decrypter. It will let you copy the dvd to your hdd and then can you burn,shrink,convert it.
