encoded video problems?

yesterday i encoded a movie using TMPGenc 4.0 EXPRESS.
i set the finishing task to "shutdown when encoding finishes"

and today the movie wont play right! its properties were hidden and it only plays halfway!

these isn't the first time this happens, is this and issue with tmpgenc 4.0 express or how can i fix this?

does it only happen when you use the shutdown when encoding finish?
does it happen with random video source files?
have you tried convert something else?

Or maybe your computer shut downs because of something else like overheating.

it happens even when i set it to hibernate or exit application! maybe setting the task when i finishes causes the problem that i am having?

im not sure if my computer overheats because i leave it over night?

is their any other encoder that you would recommend that does a good job? THANKS
