I found no mention of it in the Tools section here, but was curious due to my interest in an
editor that claims to be able to work on a good variety of video material formats. For example,
VideoRedo seems to be limited to working on MPEGs only, and just about the only thing I see listed
for WMVs is WME (which per some descriptions is command line only, and requires extensive
foreknowledge about commands and syntax ?).

videoredo does not reconvert mpeg2.
asfbin,wme does not reconvert wmv.
avs reconverts everything but it might be a good editor if you want some simple transitions. But I refuse to add any more avs software to the tools list, they have like 32902383 different converters that easily could be one tool..
