    Is it a really difference between CCE 2.50 and 2.61 ?

    Image quality is better ?

    encoding is better ?

    I think quality is about the same. Only speed changes a little bit.

    Well, CCE 2.5 takes VirtualDub frameserved videos. But if you don't need that you can just as well go for CCE 2.64... Besides, it's the only version you can purchase, 2.5 is no longer for sale

    I also heard that CCE 2.5 plugin won't work with Premiere 6.
    Is it true? Any workaround?

    AVI wrapper will frameserve from Premier to CCE-SP I believe. It works for me using Premier 6 and CCE-SP 2.64.
