Currently using compressor to convert the dv-pal qt file to h.264
    12fps/med quality/64kbpsMono
then i run the resulting file through Visual Hub
    12fps/standard quality/64kbpsMono
trying to get a 30 min edit down to a final file size of 80mb
70% talking heads/rest is cutaways that use slow pans/zooms/static shots

i dont doubt im doing something stupid as i have no experience with compression/encoding other than trial & error experimentation,
    any help appreciated,
can provide more detailed settings if needed,
    thanks

    80 mb/30 min = 2.67 mb/min = 45.5 KB/sec = 364 kbps.
Audio is 64 kbps, so 300 kbps remaining for video.
With just 300 kbps, keep the frame size no bigger than 464x256 (16:9) or 400x304 (4:3), when going with FLV/H.263.
