    How can I extract audio from XviD MPEG-4 video.I have try with VirtualDub, extract WAV but Vegas 8 can't recognize the audio on the time line.
    Any sugestion?

    pull your extracted wav into windows movie maker and try saving it

    Vegas doesn't like VBR MP3 audio. My guess is that this is your problem. Open the file in Virtualdub and save the audio as an uncompressed WAV file instead. The basic extract just keeps the original compression and dumps it in a wav container. You have to actually set the compression to uncompressed PCM, then save the file.
