I have a JVC Digital Video Camera GR-D250. mini DV format.
First class but I am having difficulties in producing DVD's through my computer from videos taken.
I am using the JVC Power Producer 2 Gold VCD software program, supplied with the camera and though I can 'Burn' onto a CD-RW which will replay on my computer, it will not play on my DVD player in my Home Cinema LG system Model HT752TH-DH.
Using that software I have tried to 'Burn' onto a Maxwell DVD+RW disc.
I am trying to use the FreeCom DVD+/-RW burner USB 2.0. Model 16H9 or I can use the RW/DVD GCC 4481B player/burner that came with the computer.
But getting the right combination of computer loaded software and the media to use that will play back on my Home Cinema system, is proving to be a nightmare.
Can anyone help please.
Happy New Year.

Are you trying to make VCD or DVD. VCD will most likely not play on stand alone player. Check the specs for the player, if it is able to play VCD, not too many are.
According to software specs, it is able to make both formats, try to make and burn DVD.
