    I have a Sony HDV-videocamera. Sometimes when I am travelling I donot wish to carry the HDV-camera and I make some films with the Sony still-camera. These films I can insert into the HDV-films with VegasStudio 8.
    Now I am consideriing buying a Lumix FX37 or similar which can take HD-film. What kind of HD-files are created in Lumix? Can they be used in Vegas? I have read that Vegas only can accept files from Sony-cameras. Is that correct?

    I have an 8 mb sd card in my canon sd850is still camera and it loads video into vegas pro 8 easily, no problems.

    the panasonic creates motion-jpeg avis. vegas should import them fine.
