    PLEASE use a better subject that clearly describes the topic. I have changed your subjects but you can also change them if you click on edit on the first post.

    And if you want any help then PLEASE provide as much information as possible. What kind of video do you have now? avi,dvd,dv,mkv,mp4,ogm? You can change audio in many video editors like virtualdub,avidemux or video multiplexers but what tool exactly depends on the source format.

    When you say "video," do you mean DVD? (Sorry, we're not mind-readers here.) If it is a DVD, then you have a file structure that does not lend itself to easy soundtrack replacement by some one-click consumer software program. Yes, there are freeware programs that can accomplish the task, but there are many steps involved, and will require a bit of a learning curve. You will need to:

    1) Rip the DVD to your computer (look for DVD ripping software under the Tools section of this site).
    2) Demux the video and audio streams from the VOB files of each DVD (PgcDemux is a good one).
    3) Time the replacement audio stream to the video. This will be your most complicated step, as the English video may not be timed exactly as the foreign language video, and audio synch may require the use of a timeline video editor (payware) and additional steps to convert ac3 audio to wav files for editing, then back to ac3 after synchronizing to picture.
    4) Remux video and audio streams to an mpg file for authoring back to dvd.
    5) Authoring the DVD (for a compliant file structure that will play on any player).
    6) Burning the resulting VIDEO_TS folder to disc.

    Are you willing to tackle all of this? It might be better just to shell out a few bucks for better-looking English language DVD. It would certainly save you lots of time and headaches.

    If you have a AVI video, you can use VirtualDubMod:

    - Open the bad video with the language you want;
    - Go to STREAM--> STREAM LIST;
    - Now click SAVE WAV. Here you will extract the audio/language that you want. Let checked in video DIRECT STREAM COPY;
    - Close video file. Now open that good video with bad language;
    - Go to STREAM--> STREAM LIST and then click DISABLE;
    - In this box click ADD and find the audio wav that you extracted before;

    Here you will have two audio tracks, one is disable. Move up the audio that you add, let it in first place. Click OK;

    Just press F7 and save the video. Now the good video will have the good language.

    If you need more information tell me about.
