    I have a wmv vid that is 78 mb, I want to resize it a little smaller, and make it a avi. Is there a way to do this, but make the mb size about the same or smaller. XVID format would have doubled it. Thanks.

    If you use the same bitrate, the files will be the same size, no matter what codec you use. Will the quality be the same ? That is another question. 2 pass Divx/Xvid should be close.
