Hello
Quick run down I am using a Pinnacle usb 710 external capture
and a PC with 1 gig ram and 2.07 GHZ Processor
and using Pinnacle studio Plus Version 10.6
ATI Raddon 9550
I have been using This program for 6 Months with little to no Problems.
I am using a Dvd\Vcr Sony slv-d380P Combo that run to the USB 710 then to the PC
My issue is when i go to tranfer VHS the Video Signal is Crap the image jumps around very unstable looking
Also -- Recently i was getting an error no valid video signal or input
That error appears to be fixed after reinstalling the software and drivers for the 3rd time
even tried to update to version 11 same probem
How ever if i try a DVD though the same Process Video signal is fine using same process as above
I attempted to watch a VHS movie after connecting it to my TV works fine video signal apears fine and stable
I changed tapes and still same issue with the video tranfer
This worked fine in the Past !!!!!!!!!!!
Only thing I can think of recently I revamped my computer (reimaged)
Software Should be all upto date
Any suggestion in what I am over looking thank you
Any help would be great

PC capturing is more prone to display quality issues from a VHS player than a TV. My first thought would be poor quality tapes or the player is dirty/worn and not playing them properly.
